LET’S PLAY BUNCO!

Divas with Dice of Jacksonville, Florida
Formed in March 2008

My brother (yes brother...but it's ok..he's gay) and I formed this group when we were ready to venture out from another group. We had a great time with food, good friends and of course jello shots. We play the first Friday of every month and sometimes we have themed buncos...some have included Cinco de Bunco....70's Bunco and pictured above..80's Bunco. We also had a special one year anniversary recently which is where the other picture was taken. It's a lively group of girls and guy who enjoy getting out and cutting loose once a month.

BUNCO TIPS

Sometimes it can be rather hard to hear over all the chatter and good times so we have a cow bell to indicate the round is over. We also have our very own Diva that travels around the room. Everytime you roll a Bunco you get the Diva. At the end of the game whoever has the Diva gets a special surprise. Our Diva is very fashionable and has been known to change her attire based on the time of year, pictured she is supporting the March of Dimes helping save babies.

Jello Shots

Jello Shots....they are the mascot of our group and are there 90% of the time. We all love them and they are easy to make.

6oz Jello (large package)
16oz water (boiling)
6oz water (cold)
10oz Vodka

Mix the jello mix with the boiling water until the powder is fully dissolved and add the cold water and alcohol. Pour the cooling mixture into either shot glasses or paper cups. Let cool in the fridge for at least 3 hours. Please remember to drink responsibly!

These go great with....Tortellini Pasta and Dips
• Pesto Dip
• 8oz tub of whipped cream cheese - you can use the block but this is easier to mix up
• 8 oz of sour cream
• 4 oz of you favorite pesto

• Tomato Brochette Dip
• 8oz tub of whipped cream cheese - you can use the block but this is easier to mix up
• 8 oz of sour cream
• 4 oz of your favorite brochette sauce

Prepare a package or box our your favorite dried or fresh tortellini pasta per package directions
Toss with a tablespoon of olive oil and serve with dips

Maria Geraci
Here is the newest addition to the Geraci family. Right now, her name is Truffles. That could change, but not if Megan Geraci has anything to do with it. She's a 6 week old Dachshund puppy and she's absolutely adorable. The blue blanket came from her mother's house, so she's pretty firmly attached to that.
